Disney removed the "maybe" and definitely called Carly Rae Jepsen when they were looking for a new star to sing "Part of Your World" for the upcoming "The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition" release! The singer was more than happy to lend her pipes to the iconic song, and even dyed her hair Ariel-red for the gig (though she was told that wasn't necessary).
