Since the release of Valtari, Sigur Rós has embarked on their extensive Mystery Film Experiment, a video series that visually illustrates the album’s tracks. Today we have the clip for “Valtari,” in which a male and female dancer fuse together. Christian Larson directs. Valtari is out now on XL.
Last night, Sigur Rós performed in their native Iceland for the first time in four years and to commemorate the occasion they played a new song called “Brennisteinn.” Musically, it’s a bit of a departure from what they usually do, featuring big bursts of electronic noise.
