'The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live In Cologne' will be released next month

The Jimi Hendrix documentary, Jimi Hendrix: Guitar Hero, which was narrated by Slash, is getting the reissue treatment and the updated version will be released on DVD on June 10th

Jimi Hendrix, and famous jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, along with drummer Tony Williams, had been trying to enlist the bass guitar duties of Paul McCartney for a recording project in 1969

Hendrix and Davis sent McCartney a telegram, but he was on holiday at the time
