In the early hours of a spring morning in Chicago, a bevy of lost souls sought guidance from a renegade rocker. We may have come seeking mere entertainment but in the end, the show was so much more, Butch Walker and the Black Widows brought us and our dreams to the road to redemption.
The highlights of the album come when Cash is able to open up and sing. Covers of Sheryl Crow's "Redemption Day" and Kris Kristofferson's "For the Good Times" are potent examples of giving Cash a space to sing, rather than run him through a litany of words
Redemption will be performing two headlining shows in February 2010 in support of their recently-released fourth CD
