Snow Patrol covered Oasis on the final night (August 23) of V Festival 2009 at Chelmsford, after they had to fill in as headliners for the illness-stricken band.

Snow Patrol dedicated their set at V in Staffordshire today (August 22) to Elbow and headliners Oasis as they drew one of the biggest crowds of the day to the main stage so far.
Snow Patrol are set to head out on a tour of UK and Ireland that will see them play material from throughout their career and songs by frontman Gary Lightbody's side-project The Reindeer Section, as well as being joined by guests onstage.
