Finland's NIGHTWISH has been nominated for an Echo Award in Germany in the category Rock/Alternative International. Other artists nominated in the same category include EVANESENCE, FOO FIGHTERS, NICKELBACK, and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS. The Echo Award is the German equivalent of a Grammy, and this is the band's second nomination for this prestigious award. They previously won in their category in 2008.
