Download Festival have announced six new bands for their 2012 summer line-up. Killswitch Engage, Black Veil Brides, Shinedown, NOFX, Opeth and Nightwish have been added to the weekend's bill, which already sees performances confirmed from Metallica, Black Sabbath, The Prodigy and Soundgarden. In other Download news, the festival has announced the debut of the Download RIP Metal Hotel, an indoor 'pop up' hotel located on the festival site. Each room will have two beds, thermostatic climate control, an en-suite wet room with toilet, basin and shower, storage space, a flat screen TV, and secure card entry.
