Cherrytree/Interscope have set a October 4th release date for Feist's new studio album entitled Metals

On Thursday Feist shared a mysterious teaser video hinting at the followup to The Reminder. Today we’ve got a new vignette and confirmation that a new album is indeed coming soon. Titled Metals, it’s out 10/4 on Cherrytree/Interscope and will find the singer working again with Chilly Gonzales, Mocky, and Valgeir Sigurðsson....

This short clip appears to be the first in a series, judging by the row of “locked” boxes across the bottom of Feist’s ListenToFeist.com site, where this “vignette” was first posted. Exclaim reports that Chatelaine stated the new Feist record is out in October while naming her Woman Of The Year. ...
