Refused have announced that they are to reform for several shows later this year. The legendary post-hardcore Swedes, who broke up shortly after releasing their groundbreaking album The Shape Of Punk To Come in 1998, will play at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California in April and the Way Out West Festival in Gothenburg, Sweden in August."We never did The Shape Of Punk To Come justice back when it came out, [we were] too tangled up in petty internal bickering to really focus on the job," reads a statement posted on the band's official website. "And suddenly there's this possibility to do it like it was intended. We wanna do it over, do it right. For the people who've kept the music alive through the years, but also for our own sakes. We feel that you deserve it and we hope the feeling is mutual. See you in the pit."Check out New Noise below.
