London-based rockers Slaves To Gravity have announced plans to disband following their appearance at the Relentless Freeze Festival on October 28."After five incredible years, we're sad to announce that STG is calling it a day," said the band in an official statement. "We've had an amazing ride, but after an innumerable amount of setbacks the time has undoubtedly come to move onto pastures new. We still love each other very much and remain fiercely proud of the music we made. We're just sorry there won't be any more. "Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. You've made it a magical experience that we will never forget."The band - who feature guitarist/vocalist Tommy Gleeson, guitarist Mark Verney, and bassist Toshi Ogawa - won the Best British Newcomer gong at the 2008 Kerrang! Awards. Their second album, Underwaterouterspace, was released in April. For tickets to the Relentless Freeze Festival, click here.
