Skindred frontman Benji Webbe says that he got to live out an odd fantasy on the set of the video for their forthcoming single, Cut Dem.The sinister video - directed by Tim Fox, who helmed their Warning clip - shows the band dressed as a gang of gravediggers assisting Benji, who plays an evil doctor with a penchant for experimenting on corpses."I've always wanted to see what Victorian London was like," explains Benji, "so we thought it would be fun to make a video set in that period, with added zombies. The Victorian lifestyle really appealed to me; everyone was smartly dressed and drunk on gin. Total madness!"During the video, one of the dead bodies is full of black smoke which turns us all into raging zombie voodoo bastards!" he adds of the short film's pant-wetting narrative. "It's a pretty dark video but it was a lot of fun to make."Cut Dem will be released on August 24 through BMG.Check out the video below, exclusively on Kerrang.com.
