The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins has confessed that the reunited Lowestoft rockers are "terrified, but in a good way" about their big comeback performance at Download today (June 10). The reason for this uncharacteristic stage fright? that hostile fans unfamiliar with his band and a clutch of never-heard-before songs could spark a powder keg atmosphere for their first appearance at the festival in five years. Justin has promised to take it in his stride, however. "What we've missed is the daunting-ness," he says. "It's one thing toplay to your fans - and that's an awesome experience - but we haven't done anything for a while that involves hostility!"The band have also announced a full tour of the UK and Ireland later this year.
