Escape The Fate and Black Spiders have been confirmed to play two special headline shows as part of the Kerrang! Awards 2011 Fuelled By Relentless Energy Drink.Escape The Fate - who've been nominated for Best Album at this year's ceremony for their 2010 self-titled effort - will play London's Relentless Garage on June 10. "I simply can't put my excitement into words," says frontman Craig Mabbitt. "The recent support from all our fans has been so overwhelming and I can't thank everyone enough who voted for us. Just to be nominated among these other amazing artists is a great pleasure and honour."Black Spiders will play the Garage on June 19. Frontman Pete Spiby says that the Yorkshire riff merchants are putting their heads together for a unique set to mark the occasion."It's awesome to be involved," smiles Pete. "I think we're going to put together something special for this particular show; anything can happen! Some of the set might pay some tribute to the different bands Kerrang! has covered over the years, seeing as it's the magazine's 30th birthday that month. I remember buying the first issue in 1981 with [AC/DC guitarist] Angus Young on the cover, so we're pretty honoured to be taking part!"Tickets for the Escape The Fate show cost £15, while Black Spiders are priced at £10 (both subject to a booking fee). Both shows are open to those aged 14 years and over. Tickets are available to purchase from www.aloud.com. Stay tuned for more gig announcements in coming weeks, and remember to keep voting for your favourite acts at this year's K! Awards at awards.kerrang.com.
