My Passion frontman Laurence Rene says the band's future is looking brighter than ever after signing a deal with major label Universal's imprint Spinefarm, who will release their forthcoming 13-track album, Inside This Machine on April 18."Joining the label is very exciting," Laurence tells Kerrang!. "We can't wait to see where this takes us. It removes all the pressure off us self-releasing our music and we can concentrate on all the crazy shit we want to do live." And to that end, the vocalist says they're now looking ahead to their April tour, which will see the Hitchin dance-punks perform each show covered entirely in gold paint."Bands at our level don't seem to be doing anything striking," explains the singer. "We want to make each tour memorable, and we've made sure each venue has a shower so we can get the paint off after each show. It's really messy, but it'll be worth it!"The band begin their tour at Bristol Academy on April 21. For tickets, see www.aloud.com.
