Duo set to release album early next year

The Shins' former drummer Jesse Sandoval has revealed that before he was given the boot the band were working in the studio with Danger Mouse.

Reuters - A lineup change, a new label, a film score and a few new songs are in store for fans of indie rock band The Shins, which returned to the road this past week after an eighteen-month break.

Modest Mouse drummer Joe Plummer has replaced Jesse Sandoval in The Shins, as part of a shuffle in the lineup of the band.
