Heart: Bret Michaels recovering in hospital after heart surgery

Bret Michaels is recovering in hospital in Phoenix, Arizona after undergoing heart surgery yesterday (Monday, January 24).The Poison frontman had surgery to correct a hole in his heart which was the likely cause of the brain haemorrhage and stroke he suffered last May.Michaels is reported to be in good spirits, but he will remain hospital under observation until the weekend.
