The campaign to get Biffy Clyro's original version of Many Of Horror to chart higher than X Factor winner's Matt Cardle's retitled cover of the track, When We Collide, was dealt a blow this morning when the Official Charts Company published their first midweek report.While Biffy look set to go Top 10 this week after debuting at Number 9 in today's chart report, they are 97,000 copies behind Cardle's version which is currently topping the UK singles charts.In other chart news, Corey Taylor's Christmas single X-M@$, is currently at 108,000 copies behind Matt Cardle at Number 33, while The Darkness are 111,000 copies behind Cardle at Number 157 with their 2003 hit, Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End).
