Within Temptation have started work on the follow up to 2007's The Heart Of Everything. The album, which is a concept record based on the work of comicbook writer Steven O'Connell (BloodRayne, Dark 48) will be titled The Unforgiving, and will be released in march of next year."We have been big comic fans since our childhood," said frontwoman Sharon den Adel. "With this album, we felt the time was right to take a stride in our creative development, to broaden our horizons. "Aside of the whole concept on this album, the songs go in more different directions than ever before," she added. "The late '80's, when we first started to read comic books, has certainly also left its mark on the sound of our new album." In related news, the band will play London's Brixton Academy on March 30.
