In this week's Kerrang! magazine Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor and Avenged Sevenfold vocalist M. Shadows reveal that they're providing moral as well as musical support for each other on their current co-headline UK tour. The bands, who have both lost close friends over the last twelve months - Avenged drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan died on December 28, 2009 and Corey's Slipknot bandmate Paul Gray passed away on May 24 of this year - have opened up in this heartfelt, joint interview."The whole reason we're [touring together] is to celebrate and live in the moment," Taylor told K! "So many people put so much negativity on our genre, but if they had any idea how fucking close we are, and how we close ranks when something like this happens, they'd be blown away. I'd love to see pop people do that, but they'd fucking eat each other before they'd help each other out.""Jimmy would want us to have a good time, Paul [Gray] would want these guys to have a good time, and Dime [Dimebag Darell, brother of Hellyeah drummer Vinnie Paul who are supporting the bands on this tour] is up there fucking rocking out with those guys," added Shadows.
