In an exclusive interview in this week's Kerrang! magazine, Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash has revealed that the band are currently auditioning replacements for singer Scott Weiland who acrimoniously left the rock supergroup in 2008."There're two guys we're trying out at the moment, so we'll see how that goes," Slash tells K!. "You might not know one of them, the other one you definitely will!" While Slash is keeping suitably tight-lipped and refusing to name names, he has shot down internet rumours that the "one you definitely will" know is Faith No More frontman Mike Patton."It's is definitely just that, a rumour," he said. Slash says that Velvet Revolver is heading into a different musical direction now that they don't have to conform to Scott Weiland's vocal style.
