Every Time I Die are breathing a sigh of relief after a number of high profile celebrities have called off their lawyers following the band's Twitter pranks to promote their new DVD.Earlier this month the band sent a series of fake celebrity endorsements allegedly from the likes of Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Oprah Winfrey and U.S. President Barack Obama via the popular social networking site to plug Shit Happens: The Series, which was released this coming Monday (October 25)."The whole thing started as a joke," frontman Keith Buckley tells Kerrang!. "The first fake thing we did was with Barack Obama, so obviously people knew we were messing around trying to promote the DVD. Then it got a little out of hand with all five of us going at it at the same time."Following a number of heated exchanges between the band and lawyers acting for some of the celebrities in question, they have agreed not to sue Every Time I Die for deformation as long as the band promise not to send any more fake Tweets."In the end they said, 'Knock it off and we'll call off the dogs'," explains Buckley. "So we have. Besides, we don't have the money in our bank accounts to cover any lawsuits!"
