Hawthorne Heights are set to play a special charity show in Leeds on Tuesday, November 16 to help raise money for a fan who was injured by their late guitarist, Casey Calvert, in 2006.During the band's set at the Bristol Academy, guitarist Calvert - who sadly died in November 2007 from an accidental drugs overdose - staged dived and landed on Jennifer's head, breaking her jaw. Jennifer has been left with an estimated £12,000 dentist bill following the incident."Jennifer still has a mountain of debt created by her injury and we want to make good on a promise that our friend made to her before he passed away," the band told Kerrang!. "We're doing a special acoustic show in Leeds at the Cockpit prior to our regular show. This will be the first time we've ever done a stripped down set overseas so its something special for our fans over there and every bit of the proceeds will go directly to Jennifer to help with her medical bills. We also will be selling an exclusive T-shirt, designed by one of Jennifer's friends on our online webstore. All proceeds from this shirt will also go to Jennifer." Tickets for the gig are on sale now from www.lunatickets.co.uk. You can also buy Hawthorne Heights fund raising T-shirt from their webstore at hawthorneheights.shop.musictoday.com.
