Filter frontman Richard Patrick has described the band's recent trip to Iraq to perform for U.S. troops as "an honour". "It was an honour to be in the thick of it all with the American servicemen and women in Iraq," says Patrick. "The [Middle East] has been in chaos since before our country was even a British colony. "It takes a real American soldier to kick back a party directly in the middle of a war zone. I'm glad Filter could be the soundtrack for their evening. Rock on and come home safe!"The band's new album, The Trouble With Angels is out now.
