Ex-Guns N' Roses / current Velvet Revolver and Loaded bassist Duff McKagan has reportedly left Jane's Addiction.A statement from the bands read as follows: "We want to thank Duff for helping us write songs for our new record. We love the songs we worked on with him and the gigs were a blast. But musically we were all headed in different directions. From here, Duff is off to work on his own stuff, so we wish him the best."McKagan joined the LA alternative rockers in march of this year.Jane's will release the follow up to 2003's Strays later this year. In related news, McKagan recently completed work on a new album with Loaded, which will also be released later this year. He is also set to appear on Manic Street Preachers' new album, Postcards From A Young Man, which will be released on September 27.
