Awards, Paramore and 30 Seconds To Mars are to battle it out once again at the MTV Video Music Awards.30 Seconds To Mars' Kings And Queens and Paramore's Ignorance are both vying for pole position in the Best Rock Video category, while Airplanes - Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams' collaboration with rapper B.o.B - is up against Kings And Queens in the Video Of The Year category.Airplanes is also nominated for the Best Collaboration award, while Kings And Queens has been nominated in the Best Art Direction and Best Direction categories. "I was completely blown away," 30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto told MTV. "It was so unexpected that my first reaction was, 'Holy fucking shit fuck fuck fuck!' We had no idea this was the way these things worked. It was the furthest thing from our minds. And then someone sent me the list of artists we're nominated with, and we couldn't believe that either. It really is exciting. It truly is an honour just to be nominated!"In related news, Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown and Muse's Uprising have both been nominated in Best Special Effects category, while Uprising is also up for the Best Rock Video gong. The MTV VMAs will take place at the Nokia Theatre in LA on Sunday, September 12.Who do you think is going to win?
