Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz says that becoming a father has influenced many of the songs on their forthcoming follow-up to 2007's New Maps Of Hell. "Being a new parent has coloured my whole world," says Brett. "As a result I've written songs that are somewhat less angsty and more introspective and vulnerable. The experience has emboldened me to take some creative risks as a songwriter that I've not allowed myself to take before." No release date has been set.
