There's a certain paranoia lurking beneath the laconic vocalisms Angus layers at the outset of "Scissor," the opening track to Liars typically excellent new LP Sisterworld. Andrew uses that storyteller's pace and injection of unease to foreshadow then launch into a claustrophobic freakout. Reset. And repeat. It's a push-pull of dramatic tension befitting this short filmic/poetically bizarre video which finds AA stranded at sea and finding his life vessel has the slight problem of filling up with rocks?
