The fifth album from Goldfrapp got its start (and got us thinking about the Pointer Sisters and ELO) with "Rocket," followed by "Better" just earlier today. The anticipation builds with this remix from Grum, the UK dance producer who's filed redos for Passion Pit and Lady Gaga before Passion Pit redid Lady Gaga. His take on "Rocket" isn't a de novo take so much as an extension of the original, deepening the Pointers with harder hitting synth-bass, nearly doubling its length for maximum dancefloor efficiency.
