Joanna Newsom continues to haul her eleven-pedal from concert hall to concert hall, filling out the sound of her four-piece band with 28 orchestral players sawing and lilting away at arrangements by fabled Beach Boys collaborator Van Dyke Parks.

Devendra Banhart has revealed that his new album will be called 'Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon'. The record is set to feature Joanna Newsom's brother Pete Newsom, Vetiver's Andy Cabic, Otto Hauser, Greg Rogove and Rodrigo Amarante from Los Hermanos.
