Lostprophets went into the UK album charts at Number Three yesterday with their fourth album, The Betrayed yesterday (January 24).Initial midweek reports put the Welsh rockers at Number One, but they were pipped at the post at the last minute by Florence And The Machine and Paolo Nutini who took the Number One and Number Two slots respectively.

Lostprophets have announced details of an extensive tour of the UK and Ireland in support of their forthcoming album, Weapons. The band's fifth album - which was produced by Failure frontman Ken Andrews in Los Angeles - will be released on April 2.
