"Genesis 3:23" was our first taste of the Mountain Goats' Biblical exercise The Life Of The World To Come. If you recall, the homelessness of the lead track's lyrics correspond to the highlighted verse: "So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken." John Darnielle & Co. (Jon Wurster, Peter Hughes, etc.) delivered the message to Jimmy Fallon last night.
