Portishead's Third was so much better than you'd expect from a reunion record. In fact, as we mentioned when writing up "The Rip," it's amazing. Such darkness, intensity, beauty, etc. The one-time long dormant Bristol band have clearly found some sort of rhythm, signing to Amnesty International and already releasing a new track "Chase The Tear" for the organization. The song was heard first on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show last night, but appears everywhere else today (12/10), International Human Rights Day. You can purchase it at 7 digital (all proceeds go to to Amnesty Int'l) and you can watch a clip of the band performing the song right here. One thing to note before you do: "'Chase the Tear' is a reference to a paper tear-style 'tear,' not a tear from an eye!" As the above single art suggests.
