Bob Mould, former frontperson of both Hsker D and Sugar , has suffered an injury to his ankle that has put the kibosh on some solo gigs this weekend.

As explained on his blog: "This Tuesday afternoon, I broke my left ankle. Non-displaced fracture of the lateral malleolus. I spent 4 hours at Sibley ER, and was sent home in an air cast, with my first (and hopefully only) set of crutches."

He went on to explain in a later post that the shows had been canceled due to the ankle being broken.
