'Versions Of Joanna' is due out in December

Earlier this week a rumor started going around that Joanna Newsom was set to appear on The Simpsons. According to Malibu Magazine, Newsom’s credentials included, “… a future scheduled stop with her harp on The Simpsons” (the line has since been removed from the story). The best part of this video, however, is the description. It lets us know that Madeline has been asking to listen to Joanna Newsom since she started to talk, and that she refers to Newsom as “baby singing.” Kids say the darnedest, most accurate things. Here’s Madeline doing “Sprout and the Bean”:
