Paramore topped the British album charts last week when their third album, Brand New Eyes, debuted at Number One.But did they manage to pull it off for a second week?The answer, sadly, is no.Brand New Eyes has slipped into third place, behind Barbra Streisand’s Love Is The Answer and Madonna’s 34-track Greatest Hits collection, Celebration, at Number One and Number Two respectively.Other rock movers and shakers include Muse, who slipped two places to Number Seven with their latest album, The Resistance and New York glam rockers Kiss, who debuted at 24 with Sonic Boom.Grunge godfathers Alice In Chains (who debuted at 19 with Black Gives Way To Blue last week) and Pearl Jam (who were at 27 after two weeks on the chart with their new album, Backspacer) have both slipped out of the Top 40.
