Following his excursion into Downtown NYC via Velvet Underground & Nico, Beck takes his Record Club to Montreal with a track-by-track smothering covering of Songs Of Leonard Cohen. As we mentioned when we posted "Suzanne," he's joined by "Devendra Banhart, Ben, Andrew and Matt from MGMT, Andrew from Wolfmother, Binki from Little Joy, and Brian [Lebarton] and Bram [Inscore] returning from the first Record Club." Occasionally, the Recording Academy will round up a bunch of artists that are in town for the Grammy Awards and have them participate in a tribute concert. A couple years ago, there was one dedicated to Prince and last year they did one for Paul Simon. This year it’s A Grammy Salute To The Beach Boys.
