Joe Strummer: New Joe Strummer guitar to be launched

Fender have launched a guitar based on The Clash's Joe Strummer. The Joe Strummer Telecaster is modelled after the 66 Telecaster Strummer played throughout his career. He brought the guitar in 1975 for �120 and kept on adding stencils, stickers and new licks of paint giving it its unique look.

Now that Julie Delpy (Beyond Sunrise, Beyond Sunset) is attached to direct the forthcoming Joe Strummer biopic The Right Profile, who should star as Joe?
