We gave you some information and our assurances on the Pavement reunion yesterday, but there were still plenty of skeptics. Well, here goes: The band is, in fact, reuniting for a one-time-only tour in 2010. The lineup for the tour is Mark Ibold, Scott "Spiral Stairs" Kannberg, Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich, and Steve West, which means Gary Young's hanging out at home. Matador notes: "Please be advised this tour is not a prelude to additional jaunts and/or a permanent reunion." As we mentioned, the first show takes place in NYC on 9/21/10 at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park. Yes, 2010, but a pre-sale begins tomorrow (9/18) at 10AM EDT.
