The MTV Video music Awards took place at New York's Radio City Music Hall last night (September 13) and Green Day were officially rock's big winners, collecting a grand total of three Moon Man trophies.The band's video picked up the gongs for Best Cinematography, Best Direction and beat off tough competition from Paramore's Decode and Fall Out Boy's I Don't Care to win Best Rock Video too.Beastie Boys beat David Lee Roth's California Girls and Foo Fighters' Everlong to pick up the retrospective Best Video (That Should Have Won A Moonman) award for Sabotage.The VMAs hosted by Russell Brand will air tonight at 8PM (GMT) on MTV.
