The latest single from Muse's The Resistance is the synth-lined, stadium-sized, deeply Dr. Who and superficially Blondie-recalling protest song "The Uprising." Muse call it their "rock version of Goldfrapp" moment, and clearly it's about extreme elements of UK political society. Glenn Beck thinks it a perfect anti-Obama moment because he is the worst at knowing things. Now it's got a video in which the band plays in the round for a group of futuristic fascists, in a disturbed dream world, and then show up via hologram in the way future (in the way future things will be like Will Smith and Kevin Kline's Wild Wild West of course).
