Yo La Tengo's Pelham Johnston and Brandon Reichard-directed video for Popular Songs' "Nothing To Hide" was shot at Lost Weekend Records in Columbus, Ohio with labelmates (and Columbus residents) Times New Viking playing the parts of Ira, Georgia, and James during an in-store. The clip follows in the tradition of previous Popular Songs visual treatments, offering YLT's sounds sans their faces. The first time we heard "Nothing To Hide" was when the group tore through a noisy, psychedelically-lit French television take, so might as well let the hometown heroes give it a go.
