We don't have an exact release date, but Devendra's new label, Warner/Reprise, sent out a stream of What Will Be a couple days ago, so we do have the track list. We also know Banhart's sixth album runs for 50:31 and were told "the stuff sounds wicket good..." (Thanks for the tip, Lars.) The 14-track collection follows 2007's Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon and was co-produced by DB and Band Of Bees' Paul Butler. Banhart's backed by Smokey mates Noah Georgeson, Megapuss Greg Rogove on drums, bassist Luckey Remington and guitarist Rodrigo Amarante on it.
