Every Time I Die have parted ways with long-serving drummer Mike Novak.Although the band have yet to make an official comment, Novak has issued a statement on his departure."I have officially quit Every Time I Die due to personal conflicts," says Novak. "I feel like I'm getting myself out of an uncomfortable, unhealthy situation, and it's for the best for everyone, and I'm ready to move on with my life. I still plan to play and be involved in music and am looking for a new project to pursue. "This is a new exciting chapter in my life and hope anyone who has enjoyed me as a person/drummer in this band for the last 11 years, sticks with me for whatever endeavour the future brings me," he adds. "Thanks to all the ETID fans throughout the years"The Buffalo quintet have recently finished work on their forthcoming album, New Junk Aesthetic. It will be released in the UK on September 14 through Epitaph.
