"Pieces" is one of the more straight-up old-school Dinosaur-style rockers on the band's second post-comeback album Farm. "Old school" in the sense that it's one of those late-period tracks that, in a very good way, conjures "Freak Scene" (in the opening) and a handful of other older anthems before it's through. For their showing on Fallon last night the guys don't look quite as spry as they did in the "Over It" video, but you can't complain too much about the performance or sound.
