Sex Pistols frontman Johnny Rotten has hit out against Green Day in an interview with MTV. "They hold no promise, no future," says the punk singer. "They jumped on a bandwagon that was all clearly laid out for them, forgetting all the bands that did the groundwork."

Probably a bit harsh, out of all the bands that did jump on the bandwagon, I think green day have at least been a bit more varied...
