Reports claiming cult rapper MC Hammer had recently died have been quashed by the former star himself. The 80's singer, real name Stanley Burrell, was reported to have died last week after internet rumours spread like wildfire to the mainstream press, but it seems that a number of overzealous fans mixed up the baggy-pant wearing rapper with another Stanley Burrell who had died.
