21st Century Breakdown, Green Day’s much anticipated follow-up to their mega-selling 2004 album, American Idiot, was released worldwide today.The Friday release date follows a similar move to heavy metal legends Metallica when they released their Death Magnetic album last year. However, having already leaked on the internet and with less than 48 hours until this week’s album chart closes - not to mention stiff competition from current number one Bob Dylan and new released from indie nerks Graham Coxon and Maximo Park - will the Berkeley punk trio manage score the coveted number one album slot?Post your thoughts below...
