In a world exclusive interview in this week's Kerrang! magazine, Gallows reveal how they nearly came to blows while making new album Grey Britain. The band began work on the follow-up to their 2006's breakthrough album, Orchestra Of Wolves, with Rage Against the Machine producer Garth 'GGGarth' Richardson last winter while vocalist Frank Carter was incapacitated with a gastro-oesophageal reflux condition."This was our chance to make a big fucking record, in a massive studio, with a massive producer, and we didn't want to blow it," explains guitarist Laurent 'Lags' Barnard. "[After we'd demoed some tracks] Frank came in with a fresh pair of ears and said, 'It's shit'," adds bassist Stuart Gili-Ross. "So we said 'Fuck you'.""They had all the pieces to make an incendiary bomb," explains Carter. "But they didn't have the instructions."For the full interview, be sure to pick up a copy of this week's Kerrang! magazine. Grey Britain will be released through Warner Bros on Monday (May 4).
