Killswitch Engage are busy finishing work on their fifth studio album with producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Mastodon, AC/DC).Kerrang! can exclusively reveal that the follow-up to 2006's As Daylight Dies will be titled Killswitch Engage, making it the band's second self-titled album. This will put KsE ahead of Metallica who only have one self-titled album (1991's The Black Album) and on par with Rancid and Killing Joke, who also have two self-titled albums. However trivia fans, the band have a long way to go to beat Weezer and The Bronx who each have three self-titled albums to their respective names.Killswitch Engage will be released in the UK on June 29.
