In a Coachella warm-up of sorts -- or, at least, a show that happened prior to Coachella -- Devendra Banhart and his backing quintet played a packed show at San Francisco's Independent. Natalie Portman's shaved ex premiered a couple of new songs in the process. We weren't there, but the folks at EachNoteSecure were and note:Lightheartedly, Banhart warned the opening song "Chin Chin and Muck Muck", "[is] not going to sound anything like this if you ever hear it... this will probably deter you from ever wanting to hear it."
